Welcome

No one ever dreams about divorce.  Marriage is supposed to last forever.

We planned every little detail of the wedding day spending thousands of dollars on flowers, the dress, tuxedos (and all the trimmings) and stood before family and friends vowing to our partner

to have and to hold,

from this day forward,

for better, for worse,

for richer, for poorer,

in sickness and in health, until death do us part.

Marriage is NOT supposed to end like this:  Divorced and wondering what in the world happened!!!!!

Well, this blog isn’t about whining or having a pity party.  As the saying goes, save the drama for your mama.

It’s time to start living again.

Some of us didn’t ask for the divorce. Some of us knew the train was going to crash but tried to hold on to save it. Others knew a wreck was coming and jumped off the train at the first stop.   None of that matters. So what you moved from checking “married” to “divorced” on a form.  The checked boxes do not define you.
